We are bringing you a group of true experts in the passing game. This is an event you won't want to miss. Participants will receive high level instruction on the field and in a "chalk talk" session. Sponsors will give prizes for top performers. Campers of all skill levels will have the opportunity to learn more about the game and enjoy a great day of football.
Staff:
Joe Ferguson- An 18 year NFL veteran that is in the Buffalo Bills' Wall of Fame as well as the Arkansas and Louisiana hall of fames. A former Arkansas Razorback quarterback and considered one of the all time greats. Ferguson also coached quarterbacks and developed Clint Stoerner.
Clint Stoerner- Arkansas Razorback, NFL, AFL, and NFL Europe quarterback. Had 7,422 career passing yards at Arkansas. As a four year starter, Stoerner set numerous records at Arkansas and led the team to a 9 win season his senior year.
Zak Clark- Threw for 5,964 yards at UCA. Currently the QB Coach/Offensive coordinator at Fayetteville High school. Has developed Divsion I players and led a State Championship offense.
Alex Mortensen- All-State high school quarterback in Georgia with over 6,000 yards passing. Played at the University of Arkansas and was tutored by Roy Wittke, Alex Wood, David Lee, and Garrick McGee. Time with McGee was in the Petrino system. Also signed with the Tennessee Titans in 2009.
Michael Smith- All-SEC running back at Arkansas. In 2008 became the 9th player in the history of the school to break 1,000 yds rushing with 1,072 yds.
Dowell Loggains- Current QB Coach for Tennessee Titans. Has coached Kerry Collins, Vince Young, Matt Hasselback, and Jake Locker. Between Loggains' time with the Cowboys and Titans he has learned under Sean Payton, David Lee, Norm Chow, Mike Heimerdinger, and Chris Palmer.
